SMART-BOND Fire Stop Silicone Sealant is a single-component, ready-to-use neutral silicone sealant designed to provide reliable fire-resistant sealing in building and construction applications. It helps control the spread of fire, smoke, and toxic fumes, offering fire resistance of up to 4 hours depending on joint configuration. Its flexible, non-sagging formulation provides ±25% movement capability along with excellent weather and UV resistance. The product is halogen-free and solvent-free, with strong adhesion on many porous surfaces and a waterproof, colour-fast finish after curing. It is suitable for firestop sealing of interior and exterior movement joints, openings, and service penetrations in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing applications where fire protection is required.
